Miyajima's a treasure trove for foodies! We stumbled upon Yakigaki No Hayashi for some out-of-this-world grilled oysters, and Kakifukumaru delivered an unforgettable seafood feast. The Onsen's soothing waters and the staff's outstanding hospitality were the cherry on top of our stay!
I mean, come on! A little communication could've gone a long way. Oh, and the main premises could use some sprucing up.

missingWrote a review on 02 Decoutdated powder room
The garden view was shared, allowing outsiders to see directly into the room if the doors were open—a bit intrusive. Soundproofing was lacking. hearing neighbors blowing their noses and alarms at odd hours didn’t help the peace. information on that was not provided at check-in, meaning a wasted opportunity. Be aware, the powder room felt outdated, and you'll need to request a microwave if you want to heat food.

The charming, old-school vibe made our stay memorable, and the fantastic dinner experience was a highlight. Staff assistance in planning our island exploration was also a wonderful touch.
While the hotel had a homey atmosphere, the sleeping arrangements were uncomfortable on tatami mats. Quiet hours at night were disrupted by loud announcements.

The room was a cozy, spacious traditional tatami setup, and I enjoyed a relaxing soak in the public bath after a long day. I also took advantage of the sauna and massage options available, which were great for unwinding. The facilities felt a bit dated but nothing too distracting, and I’d recommend bringing some snacks since dining options can be limited nearby! 😊

I stayed in a Japanese-Style Room for two nights, and it was super spacious with a separate sitting area. The tatami beds were comfy, and I loved waking up to a view of the pagoda. The public bath was nice and clean. It felt a bit dated in some areas, but overall the room met my expectations. The staff were really welcoming, always rushing to greet me at the door, which added a nice touch to the experience.
